Love the idea, I'm that guy that is fiddling with calendar reminders or sending myself a text to remind myself to do something. I don't love that it can't be charged and will eventually become e-waste. I'm going to buy it as I want to support cool products but I hope a future version has a charger

It's fear. Rebble is afraid they are no longer going to be relevant once Core grows and are clinging onto whatever they can. They did a cool thing all those years ago but we don't need them anymore. If this is how they behave growing Core/Pebble will be a challenging. I just want cool watches again.

As someone who’s been in the Rebble community for years, it’s become highly dysfunctional. I appreciate their work keeping our watches alive, but they’re no longer needed, aren’t entitled to anything, and don’t own anything. Now that Eric is back, they just want a piece of the pie.

It's a nice device but for me the gimmick wore off pretty fast. While I would love to use it full time not having access to WhatsApp killed that idea pretty fast.
