I can't face much news these days. This cheered me up though. My 'black' cornflowers, are lovely - I know they're purple rather than black, but still! Got the seeds from the shop in the Palm House, Vienna last year. Looking forward to saving the seeds at the end of flowering. Look to the future

The bell around Pibble's neck is the same colour as the chive flowers!

It's arrived! Thank you Tom Cox @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social And we have particularly good reading weather today (actually all weather is good for reading, but let's not quibble 😊) Great stuff!

Pibble 'helping' me weed the garden, whilst being distracted by flying things. Might help us all get through the day ......

Sea fog rolling over the surface of the brown tilled field next to our house. At the same time, the sun is blazing overhead, you can see a scrap of blue sky. Weather in Ireland eh!

That's mad Ted! Does this sort of temperature often happen in Carolina? Has Finnegan got a coat? We're on the south coast & rarely get snow apart from the Beast from the East in March 2018. Hedge is a good 12 foot high, road was blocked for a week. Hope your snow doesn't get worse!

I love camellias. This one has been bursting with flowers, not sure of the name 🤔 AND actual #bluesky in Ireland, in February, in the background 🤯

I love the way this candle above our fireplace has melted all over to one side. Beautiful

The blue bit is the original traditional Irish cottage, built in about 1929. It's history includes a bakery & síbín (drinking place). Mam & Dad bought it in 1976. We built on the timber frame extension in 2003. The sweet peas in the garden enjoyed the last hot summer I remember (2021)!

Painted spider crab shells. Found on our local beach after stormy weather. May be some after this weekend!

Washing fleeces is ... interesting (& smelly!)

Hello BlueSky! I love trying new things, atm it's arty crafty stuff. Oils, ink, pastels, did a mosaic course. Tried wet felting, spent the afternoon washing fleeces to get more wool. I still have time for a bit of gardening, bike riding and loving my dogs and cat. And husband
