There are enough changes with the aspects, boons, keepsakes, and additions such as arcana keep it refreshing. I loved the first game but I stopped once I hit the credits. I’m still wanting to play and complete what I can. Supergiant Games can do no wrong

It's nice to know not *everything* was shown in those directs and we still had some surprises to look forward to!

Even if I’m not enthused about this decision, I’d like to hear your viewpoint Daniel!

I think after processing the previews, I do feel it takes the wind out of its sails, but at the same time, I at least know what to expect. As long as these troopers don’t hinder gameplay to the point it’s not fun to play, then I’m still looking forward to it

Oh no I watched the overview trailer. There’s more of them. *Sigh*

On repeat playthroughs you (Hopefully) can skip cutscenes so you wouldn’t have to deal as much (Again hopefully)

I’m curious if the companion character was a holdover from the original concept before the restart in 2019. The fact it’s the constant complaint has me worried but at least it’s ticking the boxes otherwise

Overall, I'm happy with what I played and I'm looking forward to accessing all the features that were shown in the previous direct. I think the checklist and customization collecting will keep things engaging for a long time, which this test demo lacked

Air Ride: Definitely felt faster, perhaps a bit too much as the moving background was catching my attention more than my rider.

City Trial: Online ran surprisingly well and was full of chaos. I can't help but think that Skyah as a map feels smaller overall, but that could be due to the speed change

Sakurai as a game director is very much the kind of person to go above and beyond to make the experience for the player as enjoyable as possible. As a fan of the original Air Rider, this truly is the sequel I've been wanting. It feels like a true expansion on the original game in nearly every way

Considering the leaked budgets for these games and the successful sales and profits they generally tend to have, they could definitely afford to expand the budget to add voice acting. It's one of the last things Game Freak should do to bring the series into the modern era.

I fail to see how more variety in games can be seen as a bad thing. I thought the duplicate rule was a good call. Keep doing what you feel is right Derrick. Haters are gonna hate.

What’s more likely, it going on sale or it being pulled from shelves due to it having a limited release window? Haha
