You're totally right, beheading civilians and children kidnapped from their hospital bed then filming and uploading the video is so much more effective than jailing them!

This is something you can do as well on platforms you use frequently. Call for the same demand: let people choose who they want to deal with. There is no reason platforms should offer only one payment processor.

I put this call to boycott out on Substack where it got a lot of traction. Our demands are simple: Substack needs to offer payment processors other than Stripe. We should be allowed to choose who we want to deal with.
Payment platforms are the ones that need to do this.

As customers and supporters, ask the creator or store if they use Stripe, and explain why you don't want to use it.

Stripe is completely overkill most of the time. They're only available in 46 countries, don't work with many local payment options, and charge creators random fees before payout.
Completely unneeded for something such as a Substack or Patreon where we collect small monthly amounts. 3/

Stripe is ubiquitous when it comes to online payments. Hundreds of online stores process payments through them. Content creator platforms such as Substack, Patreon, Ko-Fi and so on also transit through Stripe.
Most of the time, the customer is not even aware.
This has several problems. 2/

If Obama apologized for 1 civilian drone victim under his terms every day, it would take him 3 years to finish the list.
