That said, any ending you get still ultimately comes from you having to potentially sabotage the lives of well meaning but innocent people whose documents expired or misprinted or are desperate and couldn't get the right ones, no matter how good it is for you

Oh yeah, I guess there's three "good" endings in that theyre the three that end with you and your family alive and safe. I guess technically none of them come without some level of harm done (tho the ezic one is probably the most just)

Yeah, its very possible to get an ending where you stay loyal to the government and your family survives, but it requires major diligence

It doesnt necessarily feel good to turn someone away in the abstract, but youre on a time limit and you need that paycheck, so any excuse to process someone quickly feels perfect

there's lots of things where i work very hard and lots where i've neglected things really badly and the balance is usually way further in the "things are going badly" zone so i just always feel stressed out and vulnerable whether i'm doing something or doing nothing
