I was given a marvel card game based on marvel 2099 for my birthday.
The bad guy schemes are:
“Subjugate Earth with Mega Corporations”
“Befoul Earth into a Polluted Wasteland”
“Dull Reality into Cyberspace”
“Become President of the United States”
They are just comic book villains.

But they fit the times so well.

I recently became aware of Thaventhiran's book Radical Empiricists. And, I have no clue why it is named that. This is basically the whole discussion of James' use of the term. She almost never uses empiricism/empiricist in the book. I don't mind the use, I just find it all baffling.

Recently an edited collection, The Biopolitical Animal, came out. I have a chapter in it. The collection is pricey for the next year, but most academic libraries can access it online.
