In this case he made the “problem” worse - he raised the costs without any benefits to Americans. Biden had tariffs at 21%. Trump has them currently at 30%.

Are we still jumping through hoops trying to rationalize the actions of a mad man? Very reminiscent of the early days of Hitler’s rise when some who supported his economic policies thought he would moderate his views and behave like a statesman.

We’d have to go all the way back to the slavery period to find a worse president: James Buchanan. And somehow you’d probably take Buchanan over the tariffing traitor.
