Yeah, really lays bear their strategy of- we aren’t going to have free and fair elections so they don’t really care. I’m also pretty sure in the long run, it won’t matter if it’s popular, it will only matter how they make people feel.

Haven’t read yet, but my feeling is, anything that gets me off a sedative that keeps patient’s intubated is a good thing (assuming their airway/lungs etc are ready). Another med in that armamentarium is a good thing.

This entire thing is silly Kennedy and driven by “this institution isn’t trusted bc I told people to stop trusting it”.

The Dems continue to fumble this. They’d be better off just saying- so there are no super secret files? there is no huge conspiracy? Does that mean there is no deep state? Does that mean he’s been lying all long? Is MAGA lie? Instead of undermining the movement they’re going for character.

If someone gets an SBT and I expect them to pass, and no one can explain why, I often repeat so I can see myself, OR I repeat and see if I can manage a symptom like agitation or tachypnea so they can pass.

This is such a huge problem, and can undermine review papers. We spend so much time dissecting papers, and then when a review paper comes out, all of that nuance is gone. It really highlights the need for expertise and context when interpreting anything.

Fourth possibility, all this does is prolong the scandal, everyone knew this would get media attention, so what the left hand doing- taking away Medicaid, the recession bill in the senate etc etc- Trump is good at one thing and it’s marketing…he wouldn’t mess this up

I telling people- it’s just anxiety can come off as- it’s in your head . Saying your nervous system needs calming is saying - there is something wrong. Even if in someways it’s just rebranded anxiety. But this is a good point

Intifada specifically conjures those specific acts of violence, and he did the work of associating it with violence, even justifying a phrase. It’s really easy to say - I disagree with the phrase keep that answer and move on, and he won’t

I’ve heard it many times. The 2 prior intifadas were extremely violent. So I think my experience is different than yours which may shadow some of this. He himself said the word was used by the holocaust museum to describe the Warsaw ghetto uprising. Also he isn’t making the argument it’s obscure.

It’s not a one off at a rally it’s a prominent expression of a movement that he has made a part of his political brand. It’s an expression used to justify violence. It would be one thing if he hasn’t been involved since college, but he has, and it’s a loud part of a movement he is part of.
