I've always wondered a bit about Schmuck and Putz... they mean Jewelry and to clean in German. As Yiddish uses many German words, I wondered if the meanings related to their German meanings. He's a Jewel or He's clean (in a whitebread way.)

I remember some of the earlier comics explaining how after cancer you no longer think in terms of next year or years in the future. You focus on now... Then my spouse was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma a few years later. She's in remission now... but I think I understand what you meant now.

It might serve to have some history here. Steam has been trying to create a console like experience for over 10 years. Each attempt (except for the Steam Deck)
has ended in failure with Valve abandoning the devices. I expect this attempt to go down the same route.

Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and so much more) lost one of his daughters to measles encephalitis. He wrote an impassioned letter about the importance of vaccination years after her death. Measles related deaths are very real.

Having met a few true rascists in my life. It's either fear driven or ego driven. People who literally think the color of their skin equals worth over others. Or they're afraid because they don't know people of other races and as such it is fear of the unkown. You can help the fear driven ones.

I felt I needed to clarify. I get stuck on grammar sometimes and thought it might be misinterpreted. I hate that a literary work that influenced so many great future writers and artists is so steeped in naked rascism that it's hard to even look at anymore.
