If you went to the Creek Show along Waller Creek last year you may remember the school of fish at the end. We bought one of the lamps and picked it up this past weekend. The experience was a delight, as is the lamp. Video makes lighting seem harsh, but it isn’t.

It’s brew day, but we also have some victuals going. Mac & Cheese with leftover Franklin’s BBQ for a topping. Jalapeño/cream cheese/sausage torpedos. Mixed berry pie. In the brew kettles: an oatmeal stout and an Irish red.

I think duckdb and duckplyr might be a good solution to handle some larger-than-memory data challenges I have in an R project, but I’ve never used duckdb before. Anyone got a great tutorial for using it with R? #rstats
