Reminded everyday as a nightmare etched into my mind, how my kids will never see how their father climbed out of the dark abyss to see the a piece of hope & light. Just to have it taken the moment you turn around and stare into it. A force kicks you back into the abyss once more

Not all heroes wear a cape. there are those who work in the shadows daily to keep YOU safe from the darkness that wants to devour that, which makes you smile. They sacrifice a piece of themselves so that it can brighten your day, even if it's just a little.

Three phrases you need to tell yourself everyday ... "I acknowledge myself" , "I am enough" , "my existence matters" ... love yourself first before giving out love to others, otherwise You will never learn to fill up your own cup.
