You can, but it requires English locale. First, edit RPG_RT.ini (shown below). Then add a file called "EasyRPG.ini" (shown below). Then, in order for the game to function normally, use RPGRewriter's input.txt to replace all image/audio files with English names. "%S took %V damage!" should work

Something like this. There are some possibilities using Dick or Richard as "joke" names, but this one feels most faithful.

A couple other similar suggestions:

"Any other names? Well, the only thing that stands out to me... is my huge Dick with a capital d."

"Any other names? Well, the only thing that's 'coming' up...
Something related to my big dick, maybe?"

Else, you're probably fine with keeping it vague/simple like what you suggested.

"Any other names? Well, a few come to mind.
Y'know... Since I'm packing down there."

There's also the name Willy, maybe you could think of something with that.

Well, that's the thing. If you're looking for a proper structured dick joke, one option would be to have it like this, where the suggestion is implied to be facetious. AKA, just because the guy says "Richard" doesn't mean he actually thinks that could be his own name.

Of course, that means you would have to get creative with Laurie's retort because the pun doesn't translate 1-1. Something like: "Why does your mind immediately jump to that!? Get your head out of the gutter!" Or "How about something that DOESN'T have to do with your junk, perv!?"

My first thought would be something using the name Richard.

"Any other names? Maybe... Richard?
I AM packing down there, after all..."

Or, if you want to retain the "first name" distinction:

"First name? Maybe... Richard?
In that case, my last name must be 'Big'..."

Just some ideas.

Map001 was a mistake, my bad. I got rid of it. The rest are real tho, even if I didn't include them in the report, because I didn't feel like documenting 30+ instances of the same misspelling. Oh, and Map885 & 966 still have untranslated text so make sure you download them before fixing that

I updated the document again. Never say never, but I think that might be all of the untranslated text? The database is hard to parse, so idk, maybe that's it only for the main maps. Also, there is a typo section, which I'd recommend looking at first.

Even with your system locale set to JP, there is still a good chance none of the characters will display correctly in the RPGMAKER2003 editor so you will need to use the locale emulator to open it in that case. It's only for the editor, nothing else.

The english version can be used, but you need a locale emulator. I use this one: sourceforge.net/projects/loc...
