I feel like anyone that drew as a kid had a period where they were using the most random materials because that's just what was on hand, and it didn't matter. As long as they had something to make markings with and on they were happy.

The irony of the platform with the more "conservative" user base also being the one with a user base that is generally more okay with new technology that exists for no other reason than to take people's jobs

I'm not saying Sony couldn't have done more to help Bungie, but there's a bit too much shifting of blame here for me. I mean wasn't it confirmed that the decision to do layoffs, how they were handled, and who got hit was all squarely on Bungie's shoulders?

It sucks to see the game go this way. At this point I would rather that they had just put the game in maintenance mode after TFS and move most of the team to work on something else. Let it fade away into the sunset in a good state. Instead we have a limping rotting husk that refuses to let go.

Is it out of the question that we just be able to decrypt them ourselves? Like you can still have them show up in our inventory as primes and not auto-decrypt so we know it's a special drop, but then let us just hover over them and press a button to open them, rather than take them to Rahool.

Lately I've been trying to frame things less as "it's a bad time to play Destiny" and more as "it's a good time to play other things for a while"
Idk, it's helped me feel a bit better. I know it's not easy to take a break when it's your job, but a total brain break from D2 will probably do you good

I've never done this before and the whole concept of art adoptables is something I'm only vaguely familiar with anyway, but screw it. I like throwing money at artists, you showed up in my feed and I like your style and her design. I'll take her if she's still available.

The reason this feels bad is because Eververse cosmetics have never actually been locked behind and in game achievement before.

Tbh I had the opposite takeaway from the open-endedness of the delay. Not immediately confirming a new date likely means a longer delay, and I don't think many will argue this game needs the longest delay it can get. I took all this as mostly good* news for the game.
