I don't see how this ever happens. Half the country is either hardcore MAGA or cares only about enriching themselves regardless of who is hurt by it. Either way, that half will obstruct all of this. I used to think we just needed to wait it out, but after seeing how the youngest generation voted...

Wow, just replace ALL the official presidential portraits with his own, while he's at it. We know he wants to.

Except maybe Washington and Lincoln, those are the only two that he and MAGA know and respect.

For me Bluesky is where I go to see serious posts and journalism. Threads is where I go to see more 'normal' posts (though there's plenty of political stuff there too, if the algorithm opts to feed you that). But it's Meta, so who knows how long people will stay there.

It's all grandfathered in, like libraries. Conservatives grew up with it and don't really pay attention to it, so it evades attack (for the most part).

But this shows Gen Z's percentage of 'none' continued to climb, even if only slightly. I'm not sure it's leveling off yet. Plus, the Gen Z cutoff is 2012, which means a good chunk of them are still young and living at home. I'll bet more move to None by college age.

Neither side really wants unity. Our beliefs are toxic to them, and vice versa. So I fully expect that if we, our reps, or left-leaning judges block Trump's plans, they'll decide they have to deal with us more thoroughly.

You don't have to get it. But you should acknowledge that a lot of your peers feel that way, so maybe you're not as much in tune with them as you thought.
