lol. It’s Red Note. But, I get it…take your time. Joining a new app and getting acquainted is an adjustment. It’s so fun. The Chinese people are friendly and fun and I also love how you interact through messages and comments.

Between all of the paid events and all the “cyber deals” they’re pushing, it feels like they’re losing sight of their core purpose. I guess the “empowerment” is reflected in the company’s mission statement only. #blackwomeintech #blacktech #blackintech

Events like this should prioritize accessibility—whether by being free or sponsor-funded. Considering how hard it is for Black women to access VC funding and resources, this kind of gatekeeping feels counterproductive. Empowerment starts with accessibility.
