The Filipino BC Resilience Centre will livestream the Holy Rosary Memorial Mass at today's Resilience Centre drop-in for affected community members in attendance.

Better CityNews, but I'd still like to see reporters question police and NGOs about why they conflate sex work with trafficking and how criminalizing clients harms workers. After scanning CBC Manitoba, it looks like they decided not to cover this story.

Winnipeg police arrested seven men for buying sex, then presented it as a human trafficking sweep in a news release to journalists. Purchasing sexual services is NOT the same as trafficking. Let's see how local media reported the story...
