I made myself giggle so hard in one of the blue prince parlor room puzzles, figured out the answer based on two boxes, said to myself "okay it wont matter what the third says", while the thought was going through my head I read the statement.
"This statement is no help whatsoever".
Excellent.

Damn Darren Korb (and co.) is such a GOAT.

Having the new Scylla song have a leviathan doing the grunting is a stroke of genius, and apparently it even nods to the fact that stuck between a rock in a hardplace is colloquially known as stuck between scylla and charybdis in many languages? Genius

Sometimes I rediscover the joy of listening to music on youtube at 1.4x speed, and holy shit for some reason this helps streamline my brain to focus on work while actually having a decent time. #ADHD

Really feeling the progress in RoA2, managed to hit gold, and managed to beat my first plat players, a 1200 something etalus main, I freaking hate the coverage that dashattack on ice, the u-air throw into the side-b+downair coverage gives, esp vs lox recovery, but my axe is huge so its okay.

Not that I really wanted to pick up anything from rockstar, as they havent released anything new for the past godknows how long, but this just seems like blatantly false advertising? Biggest discount I can find is 75% off of RDR2 and a bunch of 70 and 65, just seems a bit odd to advertise as 80%

I've really been enjoying my time with Rivals so far, but one of my favorite moments so far has been discussing the game with some smash buds, someone saying they wanted to play the "toxic cloud" character, and another friend (who hates swordies), deadass thought he was talking about Clairen LMAO

I have been gaming a bit.

Not having TBoI to full clear kinda shafted me on the yearly achievements though, Im surprised Im still 50/50 between mouse+keyboard and controller, judging as my PC died months ago.

Thought rivals was going decently ish, I figured there's a big gap between cpu and online, but holy shit the average skill level online in roa2 vs ultimate seems huge. Or I just had an outlier

Going to be booting up the PoE2 EA tonight, hope it runs well on steam deck, Ill have mouse and keyboard so thats nice. Its going to be weird playing PoE without filterblade, PoB and a build guide thought out. not that I know how Id set up that stuff handily on steam deck anyway.

There's a quote that has resonated with me since childhood, a little socially awkward kid that took solace out of stand up comedians. It's not the most uplifting quote, but looking at the news and the state of the world it sadly seems more relevant every day.

I'm reading buzzing that the unannounced MTG set is going to be cosmere, and honestly, that'd get me good.

Although if in one year they add standard sets for Spiderman, Final fantasy and cosmere, how the heck are you going to keep that level up for years?

Crit role + Justice league + Elden Ring?

Biggest dissapointment with the steam deck so far:

For some reason it really trips itself if you connect more than one bluetooth device, so if you want to play multiplayer with pro-controllers it doesn't work.

Biggest boon, getting a usb hub, wired controllers, mouse&keyboard and it being a PC.

I was looking for some fun co-op games to play split screen via the deck, and I noticed that the rivals 2 playerbase is only between 500-3k already? Isn't that kinda low for something that's only been out for a month or two? Not sure if it's to be expected, but I was having trouble finding matches.

I need a game that somehow combines Final Fantasy Tactics with the attention span/free time of a 30 something year old gamer.
What is it with roguelikes or games like Path of Exile that can hook me for hours and hours on end (when I find the time), but triangle strategy/xcom I can only do one level.

Looking forward to a rarity the past few months, spending an evening at home, playing Rivals 2 on my steam deck, I could EVEN plug in an ethernet cable, assuming I don't just spend a couple hours in the lab trying to figure out the game (any smash buds wanna play sometime? HMU)

Does anyone have good recommendations for a cheap-ish setup for multiple usb driven controllers on a usb hub for a steam deck? Ive got usb-c and usb-a slots. Trying to set up a rivals gaming rig (that could come along to locals btw FWIW), but bluetooth controllers really mess up on the steam deck :/

I'm so chuffed that I can use my steam deck as a gaming station/pc type thing with a random usb-c hub I got off of bol, my PC has been broken for months, and just being able to use my mech.keyboard and mouse again feels lovely. Rivals works really well, and I might even be able to play PoE again!!

Why yes hello, it is I, a neurodivergent millenial with certain hobbies and a tendency to hyperfocus, yet get distracted. I look forward to using this site to engage in relevant interests without all the bots and racism that Twitter has devolved into.
Peace love and tolerance to you all <3
