if you don't mind markdown, i highly recommend obsidian! you can make pages for terms/characters/story outlines and link to them as if in a wiki! and there are many community-made plugins for additional functionality, like a kanban board to organize tasks with. sample of a wol page that i wrote:

i like to imagine tho that after attuning to his avatar he's also capable of expressions like these in combat, especially when very focused. if you see him making this face in combat he's probably thinking solely about the flow of battle and how to end the fight quickest in his favor
