Often I play in my sketchbook when I’m in limbo figuring out my next painting. My sketchbook is my journal, it’s free flow no rules no fear. I keep it small so it takes no time to fill the page. I kinda got away from doing it for a few months I’m not sure why but it does feel great to start again.
