Thanks. I didn’t rip it out the whole way, only enough rows (rounds) to make it fit. The design will be slightly different now, but hopefully just as nice.

I did consider that for a minute, but I know the elastic will wear out long before the hat does. Of course I could replace the elastic, but the chances that I actually would are slim.
