They can try to hide us away. They can try to erase us. They can try to cover up our colors and pretend we don't exist.

We'll still be here, as the color of your lies washes away, and our true colors still shine as brilliantly as any sun.

I feel like strange women lying in ponds distributing swords would be a better system of government than what we currently have.

I refused to watch the inauguration. So I drew a cat instead.

Every year I create a collage of my favorite drawings I've done for the past year. These were my favorites for 2024:

Seals are easy to draw. They're just a big circle or oval with a face. Especially baby harp seals.

A few months ago I started drawing happy animals. I know things aren't great for a lot of people, and I hoped it could help bring some joy to people.

But in light of recent events, I'm not sure I'll continue them. This happy duck in rain boots is one of the last ones I did about a month ago.

I will not go quietly into this dystopian future.

I don't usually add phrases to my art. I print my work on both art prints and t-shirts, so phrases would be great to add!

But I don't think I'm clever enough to come up with anything. But this one I'd had in my head ever since the election.

I've been trying to process what happened with the election. I'm terrified of the next 4 years. Or more.
But to be clear about who I am--I am nonbinary and lesbian. I support equality and diversity.
I firmly believe we are stronger because of our differences, not in spite of them.
