I found writing fun when my teacher would put an object on the desk and tell me to describe it in different ways. Like funny, emotional, etc. Or we would go outside and describe what we see and then groups would makes short stories out of what we saw outside that day or even after a trip

I think we should bring back home economics and shop class... maybe civics. We need more hands on everyday life teachings like agriculture showing them how to grow their own food. Budgeting stuff like that. Having them spend more time away from the screens.
