Delighted to see that our great Lib Dem candidate for EDDC by-election was a clear winner yesterday, as was her colleague for the Town Council. Tories in third in what, in GE terms as well, was until fairly recently considered a safe Tory seat.

The statement that a new detention centre has opened at Campsfield. Unless there is another of the same name, this is the old youth detention centre at Kidlington Oxon. Has previously been used for immigration detention

There is something rather obscene about Badenoch suggesting she knows about average parents making choices for their kids. Hers were so privileged that they could choose where to have her, just to get citizenship at a time that suited.

As a a military historian, both Remembrance Sunday and Armistice day mean a great deal to me despite having no close family who fought.
I was saddened today to see my MP had posted pictures of himself at various memorials. I'd have thought he, an ex RM, might have known it was about the fallen.

Letter containing legal documents posted 1st class a week ago (via postbox as poster was on blue light duty and didn't have time to queue at Post Office for proof of postage). Still no sign of it. Will incur legal fees.
