I guess I'm not any better, I have a full blown Rails app to serve processed markdown files as a documentation site! haha

It's also a full blown nextjs app that reads from a markdown file, which boggles my mind.

This is what bothers me most about folks complaining about discourse online being "disrespectful" - what he was peddling was not respectful. Racism is not respectful, misogyny is not respectful, inciting violence and celebrating when trans folks take their own lives is not respectful.

I believe this is also what happened to @rachelgilmore.bsky.social here in Canada. Shame on legacy media. It's abundantly clear they don't serve truth or justice.

Her marketing is actually quite genius. Low media literacy folks see what you saw initially, but anyone that actually pays attention will see the absurdity inherent in the content.
"Doing the bare minimum will get you a woman like me." Is the literal reading, but that's the joke!

I'm pretty tech savvy, and re-writing the partition data on my boot drive from MBT (legacy mode) to GPT using a command line tool was like "yeah no normal user is gunna bother with this." Then I had to update some BIOS settings afterwards cause my PC reported no boot media after said change.

It's actually kind of nuts how rabid the Republicans are when it comes to this kind of thought policing. r/conservative on Reddit is another great example. Performing conservatism is of utmost importance. I mean, it makes sense because the value system is extremely deferential to authority...
