ah sorry for the wall of text! I always get exited when people ask us ^^
Also, to clarify because it might be read the wrong way: I meant that there are 501 UNIQUE resources right now. Each of those unique resources can have multiple states. So a sheep, for instance, counts as 1 entry.

and are forced to release them in the field within a certain distance :)

Strategically taking care of your environment is a big part of the game. In my most recent session I actually managed to trap some pheasants and kept them safe, resulting in a lot of nests and eggs everywhere ^^'

.. slowly eat all your crops over time!
3: "Plagues" which happens when your mice are eating your entire field without any predators. If resources get too happy (this includes things like trees :P ) they might spawn predators! So in this case it might be that you'll be given free owls from the game

1: You release the birb! In which case it gains a bonus based on what it likes and dislikes and ALL surrounding resources do the same. Placing too many mice in a field will result in your field being eaten!
2: The animals do something themselves: Leave mice in your field for enough time and they'll.

There haven't been a lot of posts recently because I've (Merlijn) been working on adding functionality to all our animals. Each of them has it's own movement, preferences, and "plague" rules. This means each animal/resource can influence the world in 3 ways:

Yes it is!
It's a bit hard to track them but our resource folder currently has 501 entries (resources can have more than one image/version) but that also includes things like trees, rocks, grasses etc.
52 of those are birds!

You're so right. This picture would've probably been more accurate 😂
