I finished Punished for Dreaming, and was lucky enough to get it signed last week. It meant so much to me to read a book about the education Black of students and see myself reflected in the words. Even though it wasn’t from positive experiences. I just felt less alone.

Nosferatu was a visually stunning movie, and I deeply enjoyed it. I did not, however, enjoy the part of the movie where I heard a rat in the theater, somewhere off to my right 🙂 I guess it was enjoying all the rat sounds from the movie and came out????? Anyways. #plague2025?

I’m reading Dr. Bettina L. Love’s “Punished for Dreaming”, and in the chapter Too Far Gone, it discusses how military personnel and police officers were used as teachers in New Mexico and Oklahoma?! Fully geared up and with guns! That shit is so horrifying, Idk how I didn’t hear about this sooner!
