Today, we passed places where the Labor Mountain fire jumped highway 97 and headed toward Mission Ridge this autumn. This picture was taken near the Scotty Creek outlet. There was a bigger jump about five minutes south.

The last of the three King County sites is King County South (KCS) treatment plant, and its Sars-CoV-2 7DRA numbers are quite low. In fact, this is the lowest reading recorded for this site since data providers were switched in fall of 2024. 😍🎉 🥳

It being November in Seattle, the #aurora was shall we say muted. But there were little breaks in the clouds that were portholes into the light show going on over our heads.

A comet against a night sky. The comet's head is very bright and white, and its dispersed tail is mostly green. I should say, tails: the dominant one is straight back, but there is a vague tail breaking off at a 30 degree angle below it.
