How should I know, I haven't seen it played. Regardless it isn't my job to balance the game, and none of us have access to the data to make these decisions anyway.
I do know it is easy to try and create a bit of drama for engagement though.

In what world is this "stinks of sell the new cards"? Ain't nobody buying SS this late in the season. This is just a balance buff nothing more, nothing less.

Games ran fine in the early days. Frame rate only became an issue once voodoo cards came on the scene. Non GL Quake could run a lot smoother than GL Quake. I think this person was just too young to know what early games were really like.

This is so far from wrong. The devs for Myst had to optimize the order the data was written to the CD. The original Prince of Persia had to do a trick to have space to put in the shadow guy. So many stories of devs optimizing to overcome software and hardware limitations.

I used to hit infinite using a Jeff's pick deck. They are off meta enough to confuse opponents and steal cubes. I'm really happy you're back creating content for snap.
