After the small med reaction last night, Roxy is doing great. Got her eating, on less meds, and while she's been getting a lot of sleep, when she's up she's bright eyed and full of energy.
Obviously with her 48 hours out of surgery, I'm not going to be streaming this weekend 💙 getting cuddles in!

After the small med reaction last night, Roxy is doing great. Got her eating, on less meds, and while she's been getting a lot of sleep, when she's up she's bright eyed and full of energy.
Obviously with her 48 hours out of surgery, I'm not going to be streaming this weekend 💙 getting cuddles in!

Surgeon said she will need overnight observation, since splenectomy can (not always) cause heart arrhythmias and/or hypertension, so the full $5K is going to be needed. I do have care credit and I know I can use scratch pay as well, but this would still help pay those off. 💜

Roxy's pre-surgical ultrasound has been scheduled (again) for next Wednesday. Fingers crossed the mass hasn't grown since the beginning of the month and we can get surgery in ASAP after!

Roxy's pre-surgical ultrasound has been scheduled (again) for next Wednesday. Fingers crossed the mass hasn't grown since the beginning of the month and we can get surgery in ASAP after!

I hate seeing her in pain. I hate that I might've caused this. I hate that I can't help her more. And I hate that all her problems are usually emergencies and I can't afford an ER vet right now.
