I found it interesting that he was singing this song from the perspective of Jesus. I didn't catch that at first listen. I read an interview with him where he mentioned it and I had to go back and give it another listen.

You don't need to. They were essentially Chic Tracts (those little cartoon Jesus stories you would find at rest stop bathrooms and other places) with the Archie gang telling the same simple parables. It was cute though.

Just "rediscovered" the joy of Archie Comics again. I haven't read any since the 70's and half of those were the Jesus focused ones. I'm really enjoying your podcast and reading the new Archie stuff. Keep it up!
