#Shaw should probably go, but he's definitely got no suitors. This looks like one that United will just prefer to let run down. He's so injury prone and hasn't been on form in almost two years. He's also 27, so he'll likely go as a free next summer.

#Antony is one that ManU would've been desperate to sell in January, but his loan move has worked out well so far. A true TikTok footballer, his wages are absurd for what he actually contributes to the club. I don't think he has many suitors unless united are willing to let him go for $40 million.

Bruno #Fernandes has to be renewed. He should earn the highest wages at the club as he is the only player that's actually performing well under the new manager. Renew him until 2029 where he will be 33. No-brainer here.

#Sancho is a challenge because of his suitors. His fall from being one of the most impressive young talents in the game to where he is now is one for the history books. It's a shame. I doubt Chelsea will buy. He could go to a non-big 6 club, but United would be lucky to get $40 million right now.

#Casemiro has to go. He's been rubbish over the last two seasons. He's become a liability in the most vulnerable part of the pitch. Who you can sell to? That's tough. Obviously Saudi League would be ideal, but I'm sure United would sell for anything just to get him off the wages. They can't be picky

Worst player I've seen in an Arsenal shirt in my lifetime.

A true Italian masterclass incoming. Calafiori influence is palpable

Strange indeed. Seemed to almost nervously coast at times.

Merino and Calafiori played a pretty solid game IMO. Gotta keep
them healthy.

So you're suggesting two different styles of play for two different types of opponents? I could definitely see that being the case. We already sort of have that in place now, or we did before G. Jesus was out. Teams that sit deep against us require a more creative, clinical striker than Havertz.
January 27, 2025 at 4:28 PM
No doubt a new striker like Osimhen or Sesko would add goals, but would it cost us at the other end? It would almost certainly cause a tactical change from #Arteta and is he willing to do this?
January 27, 2025 at 2:47 PM
My argument here is that #Arsenal can go and get a better "finisher" type striker, but will it cost us the energy and pressing ability of Havertz? Can the rest of the midfield and wingers cover the defensive "hole" that Havertz would be leaving?
January 27, 2025 at 2:45 PM
After losing Harry Kane, Spurs moved to a more "goals from everyone else" approach, but in doing so, they press so high at times it's backfired and left them too open at the back. To fix this, they brought in Solanke, but he often gets in the way of the other strikers like Son and Kulusevski.

Man U brough in Hojlund to a team that needed a more defensively solid midfield. Hojlund's greatest strength is his pressing and off-ball work rate. But the team behind him didn't have any of those characteristics, therefore he was left isolated and exhausted in games. It hasn't worked for him.

Chelsea moved away from Kai Havertz after they won the #UCL and look what happened. Lukaku didn't press well enough for Tuchel. He wanted the ball played to feet, but didn't make lung busting runs in behind the defense like Havertz did. They sacrificed what made them great in 2021 to fit the striker

It’s a fucking joke. I’m done watching us in the league this year. Rigged fucking game
