Being a creative is inherently political. If you aren't aware of the influence of your work there is a good chance you are working for the oppressors.

Creative Survival is a philosophy and approach that I use as a therapist and follow in my own life. It's influenced by liberation movements, community organizing, zines, mural art, pageant puppetry, oral traditions, and cultural practices that help us connect to one another and the earth.
