OMG snow ferrets! Such a cute mental picture. Sorry they didnt seem to like it so much. When I introduced my cat to snow the first time, he really did think he would like it, but he immediately regretted it. He just ran to the front door and cried pitifully to be let back in.

Being both dev and artist, I can tell you that I would feel a bit the same way. BUT to be fair when I do something fast and it turns out awesome it makes me think my decades of work and study that made it possible. I fool myself about it not being a numbers game (ie frierin looking up art)

I also let them know there are things I wont tolerate, hard stop, and if they do those particularly horrible disturbing things I give them the talk about how they are not a good fit and send them on their way. Its rare, unless bring in rando players from the internet. I've dealt with some stuff.....

I make sure they understand that there are consequences to their actions in session 0, I also let the rest of the players say if its okay or not for them because they'll be the ones putting up with the character more than I. I also let the players decide if pvp is something they want or not.

Well when you fire all your creative workers to just have a skeleton crew and then you also rely on AI, which can only churn out subpar stuff, it's not about improving working conditions. :/

There is a lot of history that shows artists being targeted by both fascist and communist regimes(Khmer Rouge, Stalinist USSR, Nazi Germany, Mao’s Cultural Revolution). What better way to target that population than promoting the artist killer Gen AI without the violence of the historical parallels?

Agreed. I think they're stalling. Cause the only way to fix it would be making health not a for profit venture to begin with, and that would clash with their true interests- Corporations and lobbyists.

Good thing I researched and order the computers for my mom's Dr. Office she manages before the chips/RAM went nuclear. So many businesses operate with thin margins these days and they all need computers. If this isn't reigned in ( as Micron is also jumping ship), it could be catastrophic.

It's bsky, there's very little room for hair splitting or nuance. Yea if you take everything at literal face value one entry at a time it says that, but context and bigger picture say that the OP meant something more. I read it as all invasive or annoying adds, like pop ups and the like. Not sure

I loved it. Except for the deer scene, everything was magical beyond expectation. 100% will be adding this to my yearly Halloween movie line up.

There is a big difference between a game geared towards getting every penny from a user, and an indie game meant to be art. Games are like a building- they can house an art museum, or be a run down bar owned by the mafia. Dont associate the art museum to the bar.

American tech companies own the government right now, so there isnt any regulation on that stuff... or AI... or social media.
