Kai was inspired by Yugo and Ajna and was originally based on the qilin. His species had a beast form where they turned into these fluffy dragon-horse monsters, but I removed that concept

Can’t give a surprising answer to both, it’s still Kai 😔💔 I default to him especially I got his design memorized so he’s easier to draw too. Elena has been becoming a second fav after him though! Even got an illustration focused on her thumbnailed already
