A little more context because this abruptness makes it sound like we got into a fight or something, which we didn't. I knew he was looking for a new job and he talked about maybe getting one and wasn't sure, but he just hit me with the announcement out of the blue.

One nice thing about not having a lot of stuff is it only took a couple hours to get packed. Just kick me in the nuts already.

Found out from a couple people that a coworker is trying to invent rumors about me since I'm not doing anything wrong at work.
Unfortunately for her she doesn't realize I'm an author of a children's book and would never say/do anything to ruin my reputation.

Unbelievable! There are so many other stories out there, so many people with unique scripts, I myself have twenty-one, and THIS IS WHAT'S BEING MADE? Please, for the love of all that's decent, someone tell me this is fake!

Made myself bleed trying to open the "sparkling" wine which turned out to be flat. That's a mildly adequate summary of this year.
