Don't accuse someone of witch hunting, just go 'these are serious claims and I need to look into them', limit the amount the person can interact in the server while you investigate. Minimum.

and yeah - they got a C&D because their name was on the github (or so people are saying, so grain of salt here).

But people, in game, you are NOT making it subtle by flaunting it in game. Modders are getting way too comfy.
