Le signal semble moins marqué (Mais encore une fois, attention: la clim du S9 MF couvre la période 1993-2024, donc plus chaude que la climatologie de SEAS5 d'ECMWF qui, elle, s'arrête en 2016). Il faudra attendre la mise à jour de @copernicusecmwf.bsky.social C3S pour avoir des cartes comparables

Although I must confess that I haven’t checked the most recent scientific literature on this point…so to be taken with a pinch of salt!

As far as I know, there is no evidence of a link between warmer than usual Mediterranean Sea surface temperature in summer and occurrence of heavy rainfall in autumn. But if the atmospheric dynamics triggers precipitation, then a warm SST may intensify rainfall events.
