I had a similar experience years ago when I started making homemade for my older dog who was getting sicker & wouldn't eat well. Didn't want to do two separate meals so I just cooked for both dogs. The second one had always been a picky eater & that immediately stopped. I still cook for her.

I actually get more upset seeing unkindness toward others. I think I've just gotten used to it for myself in the course of my life. 🤷
