I generally see him as saying, For years you guys framed me as a common troll, and I'm tired of fighting that, and I'm set for life moneywise so... sure I'll be that troll and just have fun with it.

He seems to know he comes across as a lowlife internet troll, and he laughs about it.

Keep in mind that these politicians are responding to a public in which many judge tech things like wind generation based on non-technical factors.

Without technical backgrounds, these folks judge based on personal aesthetic and association.

Speaking of tech doing what everyone else is doing, it SURE WOULD BE NICE if this platform didn't copy the character limits that meant you had to make a thread instead of just saying your piece :)

Let me throw out an idea that particularly in a distributed system this should be approached as a user experience/UI task, simply filtering what you see, not hardcoded into protocol.

So some annoying replies wouldn't be shown even if others want them shown. Empowering users to customize experience.

That misses the long academic history of tools like LLMs being involved in research using that terminology.

I assure you, most researchers working in the field and establishing the terminology were far from billionaires.
