Canada has ports and access to other countries. Mongolia is, sadly, more limited.

That is putting too much foresight into the minds of our leaders. Who the hell ever is running the country just wanted a "win" and is running naked through a harvested cornfield backwards while hoping to avoid the obvious.

These are just basic things listed for the creatively impaired(me). I'm sure you can come up with much more. Take responsibility for your government. You are the demos, you have the power.
November 29, 2025 at 3:05 AM
No I actually do not want revolution. I want people to take democracy seriously. Vote in the primaries. Vote for the small locals. Volunteer for campaigns, protests, or community help groups. For the love of God start talking politics with the people in your life(neighbor and coworkers)
November 29, 2025 at 3:03 AM
I'm sure you voted for her, so did I. That's where it seems you think your responsibility ends. I don't. I also don't know if there was anything we could have done by 24. It seems like we should have started in 20 or even 16, but it is still our responsibility to fix this.
November 29, 2025 at 2:54 AM
No amount of conspiracism or anger at the failings of the previous admin( much warranted) will change the fact that you are deflecting your own responsibility. I believe in the demos and I believe that they will find their way. Coddling them in backstab narratives is how you lose power.
November 29, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Because voting once isn't the only thing you can or should do. This isn't a set it and forget it kind of thing. If you think it is then you really don't get this democracy thing.

Sorry that should have said "her collective failure to use it." Obviously a single lady named Suzie could not have swayed the election.
November 28, 2025 at 2:04 PM
If you relegate all blame to elected officials you give up on democracy. Yes Biden had MORE power than your average Suzie, but Suzie still had some power and her failure to use it is what brought us here today.

Or Putin can just fuck off. I mean, the solution seems pretty simple. Russia fucks off.
November 28, 2025 at 8:59 AM
Shifting the blame for what we wrought is not helpful. "We" is all inclusive. This admin is all of our responsibility. If you treat it as such then "we" is also powerful. If we shirk responsibility and shift the blame then we are lost.
November 28, 2025 at 8:46 AM
Shifting the blame is how we got to where we are. You were presented with a choice and you did not engage with the system in a way that optimized the outcomes. Instead you cared about this triffle. We are ALL to blame, Dems, media, repubs, trump, and all of the common citizenry.
November 28, 2025 at 8:38 AM
I didn't vote for the man either or have any more power than anyone else, but he is still my responsibility. I am not guilty of his crimes but I am responsible for our collective response. The "blame" falls on me regardless of my culpability.

Christian nationalists… I mean evangelicals, have hit Africa long before they did Europe. American conspiracism/religiosity should have been squashed in the 80s, but instead was left to metastasize.
November 24, 2025 at 12:25 PM
It's a shit ouroboros.
November 24, 2025 at 12:17 PM
Lol. Really? That's it? You're not even going to defend your comment? I guess my point is proven. Shitty opinions can come from ANYWHERE in the world. Even from wherever you live.
November 21, 2025 at 7:37 PM
I never said you live in England. I just rephrased your overly grand simplification of almost 100 years of history into a quip, to demonstrate that it is equally stupid when applied to a random country fighting in the same war.
November 21, 2025 at 7:31 PM
I have. That's exactly why that statement makes about as much sense.
November 21, 2025 at 7:05 PM
It's funny how America is written off as stupid for its election troubles. I think America was hit with the same forces hitting Europe. Those forces hit faster, harder, with zero immunity, and America "fell for it." Learn from our mistakes, encourage civic engagement and political curiosity.
November 21, 2025 at 12:53 PM
I mean that's mostly fair. Especially considering what we have been doing on the international stage. Fight the good fight, and we will try to do the same.
November 20, 2025 at 8:38 PM
I will remind you that Argentina picked Millie, Russia is sticking to Putin, Modi is still in power, and Netenyahu is not in jail.
November 20, 2025 at 5:41 PM
"England has been on a downward path ever since Germany dragged them kicking and screaming to choose the right side"
Do you see how equally accurate and dumb that sounds? America's idiot decisions matter more because we are a major power but the number of idiots is approx equal.
November 20, 2025 at 5:39 PM
You can and should blame Americans for lots of things, but having shitty opinions is rather universal. I mean, you guys have lobsterman, the UK has a whole major political party(it's cute to see parents modeling their kids). Dipshits a plenty everywhere, esp on the bird app
November 20, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Okay, now we're just diluting the word. A "voting" revolt? Working within the system to get what you want is not revolutionary. It's just working within the system. It's just voting. I'm all for it, but let's not pretend.
