The way Signal is build is made very Transparent, including the Transmission of you Messages. Which shows that the Messages are actually End-to-End Encrypted. So as far as I can gather the only Info Signal has about you is your Phone Number and Activity Stats. But No actual Content.

Did you finally Discover a way to press DELETE button? Or did you use a different Keyboard?
September 20, 2025 at 11:14 AM
The small Keyboards usually have key combinations for missing keys. But you'd have to look into your Keyboard Vendors Documentation for that.

Oh and something I forgot, there are also specific Companies/Industries that are excluded by many of the GDPR rules, for example the SCHUFA, a Credit bureau, doesn't have to abide to the Deletion order. Which sucks.

Oh yeah this is a thing, this is community Package from the Official Microsoft Edge (Debian Package). And I have seen People use it. Primarily in Business Settings where the Company is hooked in to the complete M365 ecosystem. But also people actually use it.

This is horrible, I do tho want to point out that the Online Safety Act is a UK law not an EU Law. The EU is an entirely different jurisdiction. Since the UK left the EU in 2020.

What are you making?
July 28, 2025 at 11:38 AM
I vary between Thunderbird and Evolution.
July 27, 2025 at 4:32 AM
This is also not great, while we in the EU have the Digital ID which would give these Website a simple API that says we are Old Enough without infringing on Privacy. Places like the UK don't have that. There you are obligated to send PH a Selfie or ID for accessing the Website. This is not okay.

Oh I disagree hard on that Stance. While I can agree that Porn and the Distribution of it has to be regulated. This Video tho specifically is talking about Groups trying to abolish it. Regarding Child Protection, parents also have the duty to Insure Internet Safety for their Children. Like Filters.
