Very interesting. I’ve seen southwest thrasher species mimic noises, like a mockingbird. I’m assuming the brown thrasher does that too?

It really is a stunning shade of brown. Not as gaudy as the more colorful birds, but equally as beautiful

I once saw its cousin, the Curve Billed Thrasher, mimicking police sirens in a park. It was incredibly close, I had to actually watch it make the noise to believe it was the thrasher
