This world has no place for the weak of heart. You spend your entire life grappling with issues of abandonment. In the end, everyone leaves often in ways you never wanted. The one thing you hold dear may become the biggest heartbreak of your life, shattering you into indescribable pieces & it hurts!

Why is it that family hurts you the most?
One time, I had no place to stay, my apartment was being remodeled, and it was just me and my son, who was 8 at the time. My mom, who had more than enough room, my oldest sister, who had lots of room and my younger sister all said no.
How is that possible?

Another holiday, another example of my son being ignored. My significant other sees no issue with this, but I guess his family is right to ignore mine, while others are treated as part of their family unit.

Extended Family,My boyfriend & I have been together for 28 years. I have a 29-year-old son who sees my bf as a father.My son is the 1st grandchild in his family, they never acknowledged him It’s upsetting because my bf mother buys gifts for her husband's grandchildren.
