I command computers to make precious works of art and teach others to do the same. The silicon beast must be controlled.
That would explain the oscilloscope! They are working on the ray directly?! I think sorting where each day is situated in the shadow mask? So cool!

YOOO ask em how they're hooking up that vga to the monitor, is that custom flyback board? Cool!

It's also a just an extremely strange criticism to leverage at a 2d platformer/vania. It's not as if the precedent for contact damage isn't a standard design choice for these games for decades now and the game is clearly designed with it. Less damage I could understand, no contact damage is silly.

Jokes on them! It might look great in a portfolio but nobody hires anyone anymore!

Especially for folks starting out learning how to make things for games. It makes it seem like this is the ONLY look we can achieve outside of hd render pipeline stuff.

For whatever reason the name has been just 'Stylized'. There was a bit when folks called it 'Stylized Fantasy' but since the pipeline works well beyond fantasy themed assets, folks just sorta chopped off the fantasy part.

That all bothers me so I just call it Blizzard Art

A truly noble struggle. Some really interesting Twelves at evo last year! It can be done!

Ah, so you feel as if true growth can only be obtained through hardship? I understand (Ibuki and Alex).

Nah, those first two generations were like stealing fire from the gods. I weep for a world deprived of the creativity of the psx and the games that could have only existed then.

Online console multiplayer was the real mistake.

MSRP, sure they weren't $2000. They quickly reached astronomical prices when those cards were snatched up for crypto farms left and right.

You'd be lucky to find a 2080 for $1000 new well into COVID. Used ran the significant risk of getting someone's fried mining experiment. Things were bad!

The 'entitlement' likely comes from the 20 series marking the moment prices and scarcity for a GPU went out of control thanks to crypto. Upgrading went from at most $700 to ~$2000 thanks to a broken market.

Then COVID, then chip shortage, etc. Things have improved but rtx debuted to rocky waters.

and if you're looking for something kinda cool and less conventional, this semester I've been studying computational crafting, which uses e-textiles and conductive fabric. It's a really useful way to visualize a traditional circuit board in a different context www.instructables.com/How-to-Work-...
