where do you think that push of "border control" and building the most "lethal military" thing came from?

it wasn't just to appeal to the right, it was also because the idea of this has been in the background for a bit

we have no current reason to push for a more lethal military rn besides this

you think I'm unserious but that was genuinely one of the first things we assumed would happen, especially after Kamala began preaching about how she wants to work with Republicans and include them in her cabinet

we were kinda confident atp in it honestly and I stand by it

like before the election results me and my sister were making predictions and we were both so confident that if Kamala won

the war against Mexico would happen still and would be on a hypothetical bingo card we'd do a few years later

I know some may scorn me for pointing this out, but idk its a lil fucking frustating that this has been building up for years but no one gave a shit until Republicans were getting full control again

when our government as a whole has been moving towards things like this

at the least there won't be gaslighting or excusing democrats again when it does happen

since we can purely blame Republicans
