We made a new friend, Mine! and then immediately proceeded to lose both them and Rikiya, in a very normal Yakuza twist of "all your friends must die" - and thus Yakuza 3 ended

With the pirate yakuza game coming out this Thursday, Yakuza series might be usurped by the new entry - or maybe I'll do both?
