Did the double on my herniated disk and I am now out of surgery. Slooooooooow recovery phase incoming, fingers crossed!

My herniated disc is back, so I haven’t been training for a few weeks now. I can’t express how much this sucks ass! I am not sure when I’ll run again.

I hadn’t even got back to close the form I was in before my herniated disc injury and now my back is starting to hurt again 😞
I can’t explain how disappointing this is for me. I already have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow, let’s see…

First time running twice in a week and furthest I have ran since the surgery. It felt great! Taking it slow and being extra careful with getting back to full fitness.

My running year ended abruptly with a herniated disk. Still my best year ever. Not sure I can improve it next year since I’ll have to start with recovery but we’ll have to see. Cheers!
