I voted against most of the propositions.
I didn't intend to. They seemed benign.
Then I found out that polling locations had been manipulated to suppress the vote- I literally had to vote in the next town over!
Poor people can't travel to vote against the rich- and that's who was protected.

...so I wrote a Batman song- actually the greatest line in the Batman film franchise was delivered by Jack Nicholson, so I wrote that instead.
Then I got to thinking about Catwoman, Fabulous Baker Boys, & Jessica Rabbit.
30 some hours later, I came up with this.

2 hours after Comet fell out of the tree, she found the top of the wood burning stove- her afternoon nap spot.
I imagine that'll change when I light it up for the first time, later this fall.

I caught a feral kitten, midway through a 15' fall from a tree. Despite it obviously being her first contact with a human, she was instantly at home in my arms.
I named her Comet, and she hasn't left the house since, despite me leaving the doors open most of the time.
