Advanced stats aren't everything but here is EPA per play and Yards per Carry. Barkley is pretty well clustered with Henry and Gibbs this season.

I don't have the numbers in front of me but I believe the fade is one of the lowest odds plays in that situation. Teams love it though

The advanced stats don't disagree with you. But I agree with the eye-test too. He looks calm in big situations and he throws a great ball.

And the Steelers in '05-'06. Wild cards have trouble making the Superbowl but they seem to do pretty good once they get there.
