Incoming winter weather storm advisory…perfect day to put together my much requested hot spiced mulled cider…for my operating room coworkers!! 🧶

🧶Czech glass beaded suncatchers I created last year. Sourced Czech beads from all over the US. I created the wood frame, stained it and taught myself how to work with beautiful beads. I am thinking of turning this into a part time business that will take me into retiring from nursing. 🧶

Drove across PA turnpike today from NJ near New Hope, PA to home (Pgh area) It took 9.5 HOURS to drive the freaking turnpike to my house. All three lanes filled with drivers bumper to bumper. At times going 30-40mph. No accidents or construction. Usually takes 5.5 -6 hr drive. Never seen it this bad

🧶This is the heaviest in weighted crochet blanket I have ever used. It was gifted to friends of mine. I would love to know what kind of yarn is used that makes it extremely heavy. And if anyone has the pattern. 🧶

Fell in love with Czech & other faceted beads while a travel nurse in NOLA a few yrs ago. Currently using Czech, bugle & seed beads to hand craft Christmas Spiders as ornaments or embellishments on gifts.
Great therapy for my mind & arthritic fingers. 🧶

A good day it will be tomorrow 11/19. I’ll be working in my favorite dept…the HDR Brachytherapy Dept. I’ll be working with some awesome urologists, radiation oncologists & physicists treating prostate cancer. Away from the main OR, I’ll have a peaceful day. 😉
